Customizing small-sized industrial LCD modules centers on precisely matching the screen to the actual operating environment and product structure.

I. Defining Requirements and Selection

Before customization, clearly define the application scenario (e.g., industrial, automotive, medical). Key parameters include size and resolution, brightness

(250–350 nits for indoor use; over 800 nits for outdoor use), and interface type (RGB, LVDS, MIPI, etc.). Additionally, confirm whether the procurement

involves a complete LCM module (including backlight and structural components) or an "Open-Cell" bare panel.

II. Optical and Electrical Design

Optically, select IPS (wide viewing angle) or TN panels based on viewing angle requirements, and optimize backlight brightness and uniformity. Electrically, 

optimize the driver IC layout to ensure signal stability, and adjust the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) length, shape, and interface definition to match the

mainboard.

III. Structural and Environmental Adaptation

Structurally, specify mounting dimensions, tolerances, and the FPC cable exit direction. Regarding the environment, industrial applications require

components capable of withstanding wide temperature ranges (e.g., -30°C to 85°C) and vibration, as well as offering dust and water resistance (e.g., IP65).

IV. Testing, Validation, and Supplier Selection

Rigorous sample testing is essential before mass production; this includes functional testing, high/low-temperature cycling, vibration testing, and EMC

(Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing. It is advisable to choose distributors with industry experience, as they can lower the barriers for small-batch

customization and provide comprehensive technical support.
