Installing a 43-inch C-curved touchscreen monitor in your store and properly wall-mounting it not only enhances your store's image but, more importantly,
ensures long-term stable and safe operation. Below are detailed installation recommendations.
A. Pre-installation Preparation
Before you begin installation, thorough preparation is half the battle.
· Confirm your installation team: Wall-mounting a monitor requires the cooperation of at least two adults. Operating alone is extremely dangerous and
can easily cause the monitor to fall or injure someone.
· Seek professional assistance: We strongly recommend that all installation work be performed by a qualified technician. Unprofessional installation may
result in monitor malfunction or safety hazards, for which the manufacturer assumes no liability.
· Check the installation environment: Before installation, confirm that the wall is solid and load-bearing. Additionally, ensure the installation location is
away from sources of water and heat, and that the power cord is safely accessible.
B. Standard Installation Procedures
Standard installation procedures are crucial to ensuring safety and proper use of the monitor.
1. Safely Position the Monitor
· Find a flat, unobstructed table or floor and place a clean, lint-free cloth on it.
· Gently place the monitor screen-side down on the cloth. This step effectively protects the delicate curved screen from scratches.
2. Verify Key Installation Parameters
Before mounting the monitor on the wall, be sure to check the following key parameters:
VESA Wall Mount Hole Spacing
Confirm the standard VESA hole spacing (e.g., 200x200mm, 400x400mm, etc.) on the back of your 43-inch monitor to ensure compatibility with the wall
mount you purchase.
Screw Specifications
Use the screw type specified for the monitor (most commonly M6). The screw length should exceed the thickness of the wall mount by at least 10 mm.
Screw Torque
Use a torque screwdriver to tighten the screws according to the instructions (for example, some models recommend a torque between 470 and 635 N·cm).
Over-tightening or under-tightening can pose risks.
3. Installing the Wall Mount
· First, install the wall mount on a secure wall surface strictly according to the product instructions.
· Then, securely attach the monitor portion to the back of the monitor using screws.
4. Mounting and Cable Management
· With the assistance of another person, mount the monitor on the wall bracket and ensure that the clips are fully locked.
· Finally, organize all cables (power cord, video cable, etc.) to avoid tangling or pulling.
C. Critical Installation Details
These details are directly related to the lifespan and safety of the monitor.
· Ensure ventilation and heat dissipation: The monitor generates heat when in operation, so ensure sufficient clearance between the back of the monitor
and the wall. Different brands have different requirements. For example:
· Brands like Sony and Asus recommend at least 10 mm of ventilation space.
LG's recommendations are more stringent, requiring a 100mm space between each side of the monitor and the wall.
· Never block the monitor's ventilation holes with tape or any other objects, as heat buildup could cause a fire.
· Protecting the touchscreen function: If your monitor has a touchscreen, be especially careful during installation. Avoid covering the monitor's LED status
light and the surrounding area with tape, as this may result in device status recognition issues or remote control malfunction.
· Consider the viewing experience: Because the monitor is curved, installation requires careful adjustment of the mounting height and viewing angle to
ensure a comfortable viewing experience for customers in most areas of the store.
D. Installation Safety Instructions
· Choose a bracket carefully: If using a third-party wall mount, ensure that its specifications exactly match the monitor and that it is of reliable quality.
Manufacturers generally do not guarantee the safety and usability of non-genuine accessories.
Pay attention to operating temperature: In commercial locations, monitor heat dissipation is crucial. For example, some Sony models require an operating
temperature of no more than 35°C when mounted in certain configurations to prevent overheating and performance degradation.
Following these recommendations, you can safely and properly install a 43-inch curved monitor in your store. If you encounter any uncertainty during
installation, it's best to pause and consult the manufacturer of the wall mount or monitor for assistance.
